“Senandika” is a three-dimensional kinetic art installation that combines technology and interactivity. Utilizing a specially programmed motor mechanism, this installation can form various patterns, designs, and even letters as desired. Visitors can interact directly with “Senandika” via a tablet, drawing patterns that are then replicated by the installation.
The second version of “Senandika,” exhibited at Nirmana Kinetic Space, differs in size and material from the previous version. This installation consists of 240 blocks that move harmoniously, creating a dynamic and captivating visual experience.
The name “Senandika” refers to a term in Indonesian literature meaning monologue or personal expression. This reflects the interactive essence of the installation, where visitors can express their creativity directly through the medium of kinetic art. By merging art and technology, “Senandika” offers a unique experience that invites visitors to actively participate in the art creation process, bridging the gap between artist and art appreciator.
