Niskala is a kinetic art installation inspired by the visual aesthetics of the Video Tron, particularly the use of closely spaced LED strips. Nirmana developed this concept by installing LED strips at intervals, creating an artistic pixelation effect. Niskala’s mechanism is controlled via computer using an original controller and media player developed by Nirmana.
In its first version, Niskala is interactive with real-time movement. Visitors can see their reflections in pixelated form, providing a unique experience as if looking into a digital mirror. The use of spaced LED strips creates an intriguing visual effect, blending technology and art into a single installation. The controller and media player specifically developed by Nirmana, ensure perfect synchronization between movement and visual display, offering an immersive experience for visitors.
Niskala not only showcases visual beauty but also invites visitors to reflect on the interaction between humans and technology in today’s digital era.
